Alexander DunnI am a third year PhD student in mathematics at the University of Illinois at UrbanaChampaign. I am jointly advised by Professor Scott Ahlgren and Professor Alexandru Zaharescu.
I am interested in analytic number theory. I work in the spectral theory of automorphic forms. This is done with the idea of tackling problems related to Lfunctions, exponential sums, partitions and class numbers. In 20182019, I will be supported as a research assistant on a UIUC Research Board grant titled "Modular forms, Kloosterman sums and number theory" under Scott Ahlgren. In 2015, I was awarded an MPhil in mathematics from the University of Queensland, Australia. I was under the instruction of Professor Ole Warnaar and Professor Wadim Zudilin. In 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Science with Honours at UQ. This was awarded with a University Medal. Here is a concise CV.
